Willy's Tick-Tock Repair Shop
Congratulations on finding our clock shop! If you are searching for a qualified, professional clock shop to perform an overhaul on your heirloom antique clock or grandfather clock, you are at the right place! Why trust your heirloom clock to anyone else? Our shop is fully-equipped, with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment to provide a service that is top notch! We repair your clock from the inside, out! We go through the whole clock and fix everything that is worn, rather than "tinkering" with it. The result is--we usually succeed in providing you with a reliable repair, even if other clock repair attempts have failed previously. We guarantee our repairs for 2 years!
HOW MUCH DO WE CHARGE?
We charge according to the type of clock you have. Pricing depends on many factors, such as how many winding arbors the clock has, the country of manufacture, the type of escapement, etc. If you would like an estimate, before bringing your clock to us, give us a call. We can help you determine what kind of clock you have and provide you with a cost estimate over the telephone.
IN-HOME SERVICE CHARGE:
For Grandfather clocks (floor clocks), and cable-driven, weight wall regulators, we will come to you. We can service your clock in your home. If needed, we can remove the clock movement, weights, and pendulum and bring these items back to our shop for repair. When the repairs are completed, we will bring everything back and set it up for you.
$99
Basic, non-refundable charge for in-home service, oiling, and adjustment, within our 75-mile service area. We will travel beyond this 75-mile radius, for an additional fee. There is a 90-day period, where this amount can be applied to a more-expensive shop repair (full movement overhaul), should your clock prove to need more extensive repair work. If your clock has been around for 20 years or more, without regular service, it is likely that it will need extensive repair work.
PLEASE--DO NOT SHIP YOUR CLOCK TO US!
We prefer that you personally bring your clock into our shop or arrange for pick-up. If you live too far away and shipping is your only option, we recommend that you find a clock shop closer to you. This is because it is likely that your mechanical clock may need some adjustments made to it, after it is repaired and return-shipped to you. There is also a risk of damage by sending it through the mail. If you insist on sending it to us, please call first so that we can provide a repair estimate and give instructions on how to pack it properly.
