      1.  Is it safe to use my credit card on your website?

        Yes!  You can shop here with confidence.  willygoodclocks has partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to offer safe and secure credit card transactions for our customers.

        The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card  processing networks (see an online payments diagram). The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

    2.  Why should I buy my clock from willygoodclocks?
    We are an actual clock shop and an authorized service center for the products we sell.  We are experts in our field and are here to serve you!  We try to promote clocks that we believe are good quality.  Additionally, we have a Lowest Price Guarantee!  We are also very helpful--should you want assistance in picking "the right clock".

    3.  Do you charge Sales Tax?
    No tax, unless you live in Illinois.  If you are an Illinois resident, we are obliged to charge Sales Tax.  This is to remain compliant with the law and with our re-sale agreements with the manufacturers.  The Sales Tax rate is 6.25% for Illinois residents.

    4.  Does your website show your full product line?
    No.  We are adding more products, from different manufacturers every day.  We sell the full product line for many manufacturers, including Howard Miller, Ridgeway, Bulova, Hermle, Seiko, Rhythm, Schneider, and others.  We have some of these clocks, available for immediate purchase, in our clock shop, that are not yet listed on this website.  We also have a few antique clocks--some with their movements fully restored--on display and available for purchase, out of our clock shop.  If you don't find what you are looking for, contact us for a customized list.

    5.  Do you have clocks available for immediate purchase, out of your clock shop?
    Yes!  We stock a nice selection of chiming mantel and wall clocks, cuckoo clocks, musical clocks, and a few grandfather clocks.  If you live near our shop, it will be well-worth your visit to come by.  Visit us during our in-store hours (or make an appointment) or get driving directions.

    6.  Are the clocks on your website guaranteed to be in stock?
    Many of our products are drop-shipped to you, directly from the factory.  In-stock status may be dependent on factory availability.  Products guaranteed to be in-stock, will have the words "Guaranteed In Stock!" below the price on the description page.  Clocks displayed on the Retail Showroom category, of our website, are guaranteed to be in stock and available for immediate purchase. If you purchase a clock, on our website, that turns out to be unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and void the transaction.  If the clock you are interested does not have the words, "Guaranteed In Stock!" displayed by the price, you may telephone or email us to verify, that the clock you want, is available to purchase before placing your order.

    7.  Where are your clocks shipped from?
    Some of our products are drop-shipped to you, directly from the factory.  Other clocks are shipped from our clock shop in Illinois. All shipments originate within the United States.  Most clocks are shipped via the United Parcel Service (UPS). Most of our products are received within a couple of days, to one week after ordering. The UPS shipping map at the bottom of each clock's description page gives an estimation of how long it will take to receive your clock, once you place your order. Please allow an extra day or two to process your order. If this is not soon enough, we offer an Express Shipping Option, at checkout, that will ship UPS 2nd Day Air. If you would like a faster shipping method, telephone us or email us to discuss the cost of a faster UPS shipping option (FED-EX is not an available option).

    8.  How will my grandfather clock be shipped?

    Grandfather clocks are shipped as freight.  The trucking company will contact you, the day before, they attempt delivery. Most of the time, we are able to provide online tracking information. Grandfather Clocks usually take at least four days to arrive, sometimes longer. We are including UPS shipping maps at the bottom of the clock description page (allow an extra day or two to process the order).

    9.  How easy is it to set up and unpack a new grandfather clock?
    It is very easy!  Its just a matter of unpacking it, leveling it, hanging the weights and pendulum, and starting it up.  Watch the video below: 



    If you would prefer to have a clock professional come and set it up for you, choose the $99 shipping upgrade, and we will make that arrangement for you.  If you live within our service area (in central Illinois), we will come to your home or office and unpack and set-up your clock for you, FREE OF CHARGE! 

    10.  Can you ship to addresses outside of the United States?
    It depends on your clock selection. Some of the clock manufacturers prohibit us from shipping their products outside of the United States. Please read our International Sales Policy for more information. If you reside outside of the United States or it's Territories, contact us to inquire about product availability and shipping cost.  Our shipping estimate does not include any duty taxes, customs fees, or any other additional charges levied by your country.  All International sales are final.
