    Clocks purchased from our store can be returned within 30 days, as long as a Return Authorization is obtained and the return is accompanied with the original packing materials and sales receipt. Clocks must be returned in a new, re-saleable condition.  A full refund will be given, minus the original shipping costs (even though the item was sold with Free Shipping, the cost of that shipping will be deducted). Customer is responsible for return shipping. We will send you a UPS return shipping label, via email. A UPS driver can pick up the item at your door or you can drop off the package at your nearest UPS drop location. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will refund your purchase price, minus the cost of return shipping.  All international sales are final.

    Damaged Goods
    If the shipping box is damaged, note that there may be damage to the contents on the shipping slip (or notify your shipping carrier). Keep the packing materials for inspection by the shipping company. If the clock is damaged, make a damage claim to the shipping company within 10 days.

    Warranty Issues
    If the reason for your return is related to a warranty issue, the manufacturer will provide warranty service. Some manufacturers' require that the clock be returned to them for warranty service. Other manufacturers' will ask that you bring your clock into a local, factory-authorized warranty service center (like a local clock shop). We will help facilitate your warranty service. The best thing to do is email or call us and we will be happy to help. Many issues are easily resolved over the telephone, as some clocks will need minor adjustments done, after shipping them. If your problem cannot be resolved over the telephone, we will act as your liaison with the manufacturer and assist you with your warranty claim.

    Non-Warranty Set-up and Adjustments of Mechanical Clocks
    Some mechanical clocks may need some adjustments, after shipping. As your selling retailer, we will provide telephone support, if adjustments are needed with your clock. We are here to help you with trouble-shooting and to assist with determining, if your clock has a warranty issue or if it is merely out-of-adjustment. In some cases, we may arrange for a clock professional, to provide in-home service. If a clock is out-of-adjustment, this does not necessarily mean, that there is a defect in the clock. If there is no defect, the manufacturer's warranty does not apply. If a clock is returned, due to a defect and the issue is merely an adjustment issue, customer is responsible for a re-stocking fee, equivalent to the original costs of shipping the item and the return shipping costs. These shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

    Not all items, sold on willygoodclocks, are eligible for global shipping. Customers shall inquire about shipping eligibility and obtain a shipping estimate, by completing an Online Inquiry Form, prior to placing an order. We will respond to the inquiry, within 24 hours. At that time, we will re-configure our website, to accept your order, and the checkout page will include the applicable International shipping charges. Your credit card will be charged in United States Dollars (USD). International orders must be placed within 3 days of the Online Form submission (after which, our website will be configured back to it’s default settings).

    Import Charges and Duty Taxes: International orders may incur additional import customs charges and duty taxes, which are charged by the country of import, after the item is shipped into the destination country. Import charges and duty taxes are not included in the shipping costs of your order. For more information, about what additional charges may be incurred (if any), we recommend researching your country’s import duty tax rate online (search on Google).

    Manufacturer’s Product Warranty: Unless otherwise stated, in the manufacturer’s warranty certificate, many items sold on willygoodclocks require, that a customer return the product, to it’s original point of purchase (i.e., our store; or to the manufacturer, at an address, within the USA), for warranty service. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs, both ways, for a warranty claim.

    All International Sales are Final! No returns are accepted for any reason (including any errors that may exist in our product description, such as dimensions, measurements, color/finish, etc.).   

    Warranty Coverage Periods

    Mechanical, key-wound or weight-driven clocks are generally covered under a 2-year warranty. Clocks made by Hermle have the longest warranty--their mechanical clocks are covered for three years!

    Quartz (or battery-operated) clocks are generally covered under a one-year warranty.

    Clocks, which have a different warranty period, will have the warranty information added to clock's product description.


    CLOCK REPAIR GUARANTEE
    If you bring your older clock to our shop for repair, we will overhaul the clock movement and essentially restore it to a similar condition it was in, when it was brand new. Therefore, we guarantee it for two years, which is the typical warranty period for a new clock. Here are the terms of this repair guarantee:

      Clock movements fully restored by us, with movement overhaul, have a 2-year guarantee.  If your clock should fail to perform, within this warranty period, we will (at our option) re-service your clock, apply previous repair charges towards a more expensive repair option (not previously performed, with the original intent to save you money), apply the cost of your repair towards the price of a new movement (if there is one available), or refund your money. All warranty service, under this repair guarantee, is valid only in our repair facility.  Shipping expenses to and from our repair facility will be at the customer's expense.  We do not guarantee that your clock will keep perfect time. We do not guarantee any clock that has wooden gears or movement plates. No guarantee for simple oiling and adjustment. The usual exclusions apply, such as damage caused to the clock by negligent acts of the owner or by Acts of God. Exclusions include, but are not limited to escapement damage (caused by moving the clock around with the pendulum attached), clocks not kept in a climate-controlled environment, damage caused by moving clock hands backwards (applicable only to antique clocks and cuckoo clocks), and evidence of improper oiling or tampering to the work performed by our repair shop.


ORDER FULFILLMENT AND SHIPPING POLICY

We do not stock every clock featured on our website. Some items are drop-shipped to you, directly from the manufacturer. Fulfillment of your order is dependent on factory availability. Items, guaranteed to be in stock, will have the words, "in-stock" displayed below the price on the description page. We strive to keep our website current and to remove items that have been retired or are otherwise unavailable from the manufacturer. If an order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you within 48 hours. We will be happy to verify a product's availability before you order, simply call us at 815-945-2214 or send an email.

FREE SHIPPING
For any clock priced at or above $100, we will include free standard UPS Ground Shipping, to any customer located in the lower 48 states (or continental USA). If you would like a faster shipping method, give us a call for a customized quote. If you live outside of the lower 48 States, please complete our Online Form for a shipping quote (there is a link to it, on each product page, in the shipping section).

POLICY ON PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE

We guarantee that our prices are the lowest you will find on the internet.  We will price-match any clock, that another authorized internet retailer has for a lower price, as long as these conditions are met:
  1. The competing retailer must have the clock in-stock and available to ship.
  2. The item being price matched will have to be the same model number and/or UPC code as our item.
  3. The competing retailer must reside in and ship from the United States. (If your item is being shipped from Germany, you may be subject to import tariff duty taxes, delayed shipping, and may have to return your item to the point of purchase, for warranty service).
  4. We will need the website domain (or link) and/or name, address, and phone number of the retailer that you would like us to price match.

    We will NOT include Free Shipping, with the price match, unless the competing retailer includes Free Shipping, in the lower price quote.


    PRIVACY POLICY

    We do not sell or share any specific customer information, such as email address or phone numbers. We do not store your credit card information, either. If you register with our website, you have the ability to indicate whether or not you would like to receive a newsletter from us. If you indicate that you would like to receive newsletters, you may receive periodic sales specials or discount offers to the email address you provided.
