It is encased in a solid oak frame. Each hour, the clock will play a one of 18 melodies (or six melodies in three different selections). It features both the new AMERICANA melodies, popular CHRISTIAN HYMNS, and CHRISTMAS melodies. Clock has a brass pendulum that swings back and forth. Clock is quartz battery operated.
