This solid wood straight waist case is finished in elegant cherry and features a blind-fret overlay embellishing the crown, an arched door, and carved acanthus-leaf molding on the multi-tiered base and contoured feet. Reeded columns draw attention to the clock's long elegant lines and beveled glass in the locking door. The white enamel dial features black Roman numerals, black metal serpentine hands and a second hand. Polished brass weight shells and pendulum compliment the graceful lines of the case. The brass 8-day cable driven movement offers the three most renowned clock melodies, Westminster, Whittington and St. Michael and features a Graham anchor and automatic night shut off.
