This cuckoo clock is all wood, with wooden dial, wooden hands, and wooden house. Clock has hand-painted flowers on it and was hand-carved in the Black Forest, Germany.

The cuckoo bird comes out to count the hour, every hour, and "cuckoos" once every half hour. There is a silencing lever on the left side of the clock, to silence the clock at night. The weights have to be pulled up every day.
