Manufactured by
Schneider, this 8-Day, musical, hunter-style cuckoo clock was hand-crafted and hand-carved in the Black Forest, Germany. The cuckoo bird calls out, to count the hour; and calls out once on the half hour.
After the cuckoo bird finishes, the dancers in the balcony rotate and turn. Music is played from a quality, Swiss-made, 36-note (producing a song with the widest musical range), 2-tune, mechanical music box movement. This music box usually comes with the very popular, Edelweiss/Happy Wanderer song combination (playing one melody on the hour and the other on the half hour). However, this song combination may differ in some instances (depending on factory availability).
This is a traditional, hunter-style cuckoo clock, complete with the deer head, rabbit, and pheasant. The antlers on the deer head topper are hand-carved and made of wood. Clock has a wooden dial, wooden hands, and a wooden cuckoo bird.
This clock is equipped with an automatic night-time shut-off feature. The weights have to be pulled up weekly (or every 8 days).
Cuckoo clock house measures 23.2 H x 14 W x 10.6 D Inches.
