Very detailed crafted solid wooden case with many details and frame work. Roof with hand laid shingles. On the full hour the hand painted wooden dancing couples, the water wheel and the beer drinkers move to the music. Two melodies.

Music is played from a quality, Swiss-made, 22-note, 2-tune, mechanical music box movement (click the link below, to listen). This music box usually comes with the very popular, Edelweiss/Happy Wanderer song combination (playing one melody on the hour and the other on the half hour). However, the song combination may differ in some instances (depending on factory availability).

8-day movement with automatic night shut off, wooden hands, big wooden cuckoo, and wooden dial.

This clock was hand-carved in the Black Forest, Germany.
