Product Name:  Cuckoo Clock MT 405/10

This 30-hour, musical, cuckoo clock was hand-carved in the Black Forest, Germany. Clock is made entirely of wood, including the dial, numerals, hands, and cuckoo bird.

This clock is animated. When the music plays at the half hour and full hour--

• the water wheel turns
• the hand-painted children figurines turn
• and the hand-carved and hand-painted woodchopper moves at the half hour and full hour.
• The cuckoo bird comes out to count the hour, every hour, and "cuckoos" once every half hour.

Music is played from a quality, Swiss-made, 22-note, 2-tune, mechanical music box movement (click the link below, to listen). This music box usually comes with the very popular, Edelweiss/Happy Wanderer song combination (playing one melody on the hour and the other on the half hour). However, the song combination may differ in some instances.

There is a silencing lever on the left side of the clock, to silence the clock at night. The weights have to be pulled up every day.
