CLOCK DESCRIPTION
Manufactured by Schneider, this quartz, musical, chalet-style cuckoo clock was hand-crafted and hand-carved in the Black Forest, Germany. The cuckoo bird calls out, to count the hour; and calls out once on the half hour. The cuckoo's call is a recording of a cuckoo bird's call in the Black Forest. You can ear a bubbling brook and each cuckoo call has an echo. (The cuckoo bird cuckoos three times in this sound clip.) After the cuckoo bird finishes, music plays. The clock plays one of twelve different melodies on the full hour.
Original Black Forest house with individually, hand-laid roof shingles. Beer drinker lifts his beer glass at every hour. Metal pinecone weights. Cuckoo clock house measures 11.4 H x 10.6 W x 7.1 D Inches.
