CLOCK DESCRIPTION
Manufactured by Anton Schneider, this battery-operated, quartz musical cuckoo clock was hand-crafted and hand-carved in the Black Forest region of Germany. Clock is in the style of a Black Forest house with a little girl tending her geese and a dog (figurines are stationary).
It automatically silences at night. This clock does not have a volume control knob, but it has a switch that allows you to turn off the music and/or the cuckoo calls. The weights are plastic, for decoration. On every hour (except at night), the cuckoo bird will count out the hour, followed by a rotation of one of twelve German folk melodies. The cuckoo call sounds like you are hearing a bird in the Black Forest (complete with an echo and a bubbling brook in the background). Clock plays one of twelve melodies on the hour.
