CLOCK DESCRIPTION
This is Hermle's version of a Curio Grandfather Clock. It has four polished edge glass shelves, for display of heirlooms and/or smaller knick-knacks. It has a moving moon phase, seconds hand bit, an ornate dial and weights, lyre polished brass pendulum, and a cable-driven, quality brass 8-day, triple-chime movement with an automatic night-time shut-off feature. This clock has an upgrade option for an automatic winder (more on that below).
Handcrafted in choice hardwood and veneer with an elegant cherry finish.
Hybrid straight case flanked by petite curios.
Bonnet crown is adorned with full molding and a shell with leaf motif overlay.
Beveled glass lockable waist door.
Ornate dial with heavy fleur-de-lis castings and applied Arabic numerals.
Four polished edge glass shelves for display of heirlooms.
Polished bob with a full harp.
Dual tiered base accentuated with heavy molding and an access door.
Brass 8-day cable driven movement that plays Westminster, Whittington and St. Michael.
Movement features a Graham anchor, second hand, and automatic night shut-off.
Clock movement is equipped with Hermle's patented AUTOWIND® system (details below).

After running for three days, the AUTOWIND®will wind your clock back up. The AUTOWIND® mounts directly to the standard factory clock movement. The AUTOWIND® feature is perfect for you if you are not always home to keep the clock wound, for instance, at your vacation home or office.
